Have A Vacation On The Fine Cocoa Beach


The Space Coast is a great place for a vacation and a hotel in Cocoa Beach is an ideal accommodation choice. Orlando is just an hour away and the John F. Kennedy Space Center and Cape Canaveral are popular tourist stops. There are opportunities to go surfing, deep sea fishing and golfing or spend a lazy time soaking up the sun on the beach.

A Vacation On Dewey Beach


The Atlantic Ocean coastline of Delaware attracts many visitors in the summer months and one of the favorite destinations is Dewey Beach. It's a great place to relax on the beach or take a stroll in the beautiful Rehoboth Bay and admire the boats in the marina. June and July is the time to spot dolphins off shore. Families and retirees frequent the area but it has also got a reputation for good nightlife, attracting a great deal of young people.

The town has several bars, nightclubs and restaurants, especially busy on the warm weekends. Venues include The Starboard, famous for its build your own Bloody Mary bar. There is entertainment from a DJ, live music and deck parties. The Dogfish Head Brewery is a friendly, informal bar with live music and ales brewed in house. Sports lovers like to go to the Frogg Pond to watch the game on large plasma screens. Good food and live bands are also on offer in addition to karaoke nights. The Summer House is another popular restaurant and nightclub in Dewey Beach.

Mini malls in the town cater for everyone's shopping needs and include several stores, devoted to the beach lifestyle with beach fashions, swimwear and water sports equipment. There is a wide choice of restaurants, including Italian and pizza places and steak, seafood and chicken restaurants. Accommodation in Dewey Beach is available in up market hotels or rented summer houses right on the beach. Group beach houses are also available for rent.

There is plenty to do here for the active with various water sports available and it's possible to book a week's worth of sailing lessons. Visitors can hire a sailboat, kayak or powerboat. Guided Eco Tours are also very popular. Several golf courses in Dewey Beach offer great amenities, including the public access championship course at Baywood Greens. The property consists of 27 acres of attractive, landscaped grounds with artificial ponds, tunnels, flowers and trees. This course has the nickname of Augusta of the North.

All the family can have a terrific day out at Jungle Jim's Waterpark, which has giant water slides, go-karts, and mini golf. There is a wave pool, toddler pool, activity pool and a lazy river. Other amenities include a 24 foot climbing wall and batting cages for softball and baseball. The fun bumper boats pond has boats equipped with water guns in a pool with jungle animals that are also set to fire!
